Storms with tornadoes kill 4 in Oklahoma; bad weather arriving here
Today started out as a normal day, doing my daily routine and watching TV (also part this routine) as i'm watching, i hear 'Tornado warning' and don't think much of it. It happens here all the time right?, so i don't know if a warning means "hey, bad weather today so maybe a tornado watch for tornados" or "A Tornado will be hitting today" I assume that it means just some bad weather and we'll see what happens. So i don't panic. That is, until my MTV is interrupted by national weather station reports telling me to take cover... this is when i panic.
I text one of the other wives that lives across the complex and she says "yeah it's pretty serious you should probably get over here right now. like run". I meet up with the other 4 panicking women and babies and suddenly i hear sirens going off around the city. I look up and see clouds moving and swirling and all that mojo. Anyhow, i end up in a friend's apartment. The two girl's husbands are just laughing at all of us hiding out in the bathroom with 2 babies in a tub. We were freaking out. Outside was pouring rain and the sky was black. The news reporters kept reporting funnels and where there had been tornadoes touching down. Apparently the guys just thought this was all fun and games and we were thinking we were going to die! anyway, the storm passed, and i lived to tell the tale! But i have a feeling this is just a taste of what's to come! YIKES. Peace and love, i hope this first blog worked! :)
wow actually reading the story makes it sound much more intense than when you were just like, oh yeah there was a tornado and i was scared but survived. i probably would've freaked out a bit myself.
