I love the last week of the year! It's so easy going and packed with parties.
For Christmas this year we went out to see Brian's family for a little bit Christmas Eve then went to my family party in Hyde Park. That was fun! I have quite a few younger cousins and they are always a hoot! For instance, My 5 year old cousin told me i could touch his hair, but not my dad because "she's cute". He then proceeded to tell me a couple minutes later that "YOU'RE HOTT!!!" It made me feel good even if it was from a five year old cousin. Haha. After the party we went home and anxiously awaited the arrival of my sister, Amber and Santa of course! Amber got there around midnight and after we talked til 2 am, we decided it would be good to get some sleep since Derek was calling at 8 am our time. We got up and first things first, we waited for Derek's call. It was super weird to hear from him seeing how it's been over a year since I've heard his voice. He couldn't call for Christmas last year cuz he was in the MTC, and Mother's Day we were in Kansas or Oklahoma... wherever. Anyway, it was weird, when we sent him out he was pretty immature and annoying. I can already tell he has mellowed out and is almost kinda boring! Haha don't tell him i said that. It was just weird.
Anyway Christmas was wonderful as always, lots of food, sleep, fun. The usual.
Monday we had a birthday party for me while Amber was still in town, we had Grandma and Grandpa come over and have cake and ice cream and presents, once again the usual. It was pretty fun i guess. Too bad I'm super bad about taking pictures these days. So i will have to wait to get some pics from my sister to put on this post. :)
Wednesday was my birthday. It was awesome! Although the weather was horrible all day it was so nice to be able to sleep in, take a day off, and just spend the day with Brian. We went to lunch at Fredrico's, saw "How do you know" which i wouldn't recommend, not that great, and went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Brian gave me a gift card to Downeast because i am in desperate need of new skirts, and an SD card adapter for my iPad. It was a pretty fun day.
That pretty well sums up our holiday season, now back to school, work and stress! :( not so excited. Brian is starting a new job at Zion's bank and we'll be starting back to school next week, if we finally register for classes. Yeah, you heard me. King and Queen of procrastination!

Happy belated Birthday Ling Ling! :) Little Kimmy Beans misses you! Lol... I sound lame! Oh and Happy 2011! I sure hope you had a nice make out "sesh" at midnight, to start the new year right. :) Don't you love being married!? Yeah...it pretty much rocks. :) Haha...Love ya!
